this place was a nice surprise, was bright and clean when we walked in. the staff were super friendly, and our room was big and comfy, really enjoyed the powerful shower too. location wise, it's central so easy to explore sanquhar. breakfast was alright too, just wish they had some fruit or yogurt options.

clean room, good water pressure, comfortable mattress
The room is basic and small with a noisy single-glazed window!!! Needs a toilet brush and heating in the bathroom!!! The breakfast options felt cheap and uninspired, and the dinner service could use better organization!!!

Had an awesome group vacation with friends. We spent our days golfing and hiking while enjoying a good range of sports channels back at the hotel. Breakfast was solid, and the staff went out of their way to help us. I'd definitely recommend it for its comfy beds and friendly vibe.
One downside was the noisy disco on Saturday night, which made it tough to sleep until late.

missingWrote a review on Aug 06cozy roomcentral locationpoor cleanliness
The double room features a cozy layout with an inviting bed, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The central location offers easy access to local sights, making it a convenient option for exploring.
The room's cleanliness left much to be desired, with noticeable dust behind the radiators and stains on the walls. Noise from outside, including passing trucks and late-night street chatter, made it hard to get restful sleep. the restaurant experience was less than ideal. the meal took an hour to arrive with no update, and the lack of a toilet brush and absence of basic shower gel put a damper on the stay.

the staff here r amazing n super friendly, really helpful when we needed somethin. the bed was comfy n the jacuzzi was a nice lil bonus. the hotel is modern n really well decorated which is a plus. breakfast was ok, but i heard some guests had a great experience with it. we loved the bar area, nice vibe n local peeps were chill.
the disco was way too loud on saturday night so hardly slept. also, towels weren’t changed every day which was kinda disappointing.

Absolutely loved my stay! The room was super cozy and warm, perfect for a single getaway. Plus, found it wonderfully clean—my dog thought it was a palace!
Though I did nearly jump out of my skin from the random midnight alarm. Ghosts? Nope, just some poor soul's misplaced TV settings!
